What a rubbish design. The thing you twist anchors to a screw thread with a grub screw. I've ruined the thread trying yo get it undone. Screw thread but is about QR sized in diameter.
Any answers to mend it rather than "fork" out £100 on a new Axle?

Marzocchi had a similar design. Can you undo from the other side?
(Then reassemble with strong threadlock and don't overtighten)

I had an issue with my axle and silverfish warrantied it no problem.
