Hi All,

This has worked for Hit The North so I thought I would risk it.

I know loads of you have bought tickets and some others are still planning to. We need your cash now to pay for toilets, marquees etc.

Can anyone who is planning on coming buy their tickets ASAP. Anyone who has bought their ticket, can they get their friends to buy some too.

Cheers

Nick

Gahh! The website won't work for me here at work. We will be buying 2, I can guarantee you that! 🙂

EDIT
Website will be fine, it's our shoddy IT system that's letting me down 🙁

Chalet booked and tickets paid for.

Are STW towers going to contribute anything given all the profits are going to a very worthy charity?

Sweet!!!!

The sort of keen attitude I have demonstrated in the purchase of the ticket is unlikely to translate into top results at the event, unless there is a "running to the pie stand as soon as it opens" competition.

Was there not a certain, err 'toilet problem' shall we say, shared by the competitors the day(s) after the event....?

DrP - you're on! How many whole malt loaves did you eat in 4 minutes? Are we allowed spread on it?

At a guess I think I could eat 2 whole Soreens in 4 minutes. I'll have to put some practice in.

The gradients on the kids course look as severe as those at Hit The North (last chance to enter that excellent event btw).

This year we have the same kids course plus a more advanced one for the older kids.

The Malt Loaf will be spread thick with chunky peanut butter. Make sure you practice that Rob.

It's just plain malt loaf IIRC. And it's bloody hard work eating a whole one! I know becasue I saw the PAIN in their eyes.

And later, the PAIN in their bottoms!

Be careful when trading children - remember a slightly heavier kid with better bike control can out way the advantage of a little light one.

Check with the Tunnel Hill Trolls as I am sure they were baby trading during the trailer bike challenge.

While I would agree with you on principle, I can't help thinking that eating all that Soreen without a nice ice cold glass of milk would be a waste.

On the subject of Malt Loaf. Any previous competitions are null and void as I was not aware and thus could not compete. This year I shall reign supreme in any and all malt loaf consumption!

I don't understand. 🙂

Would you swear an oath to that anyway? Are you sure there's no cake in you at all? It is just after lunch, remember. 🙂

There seems to be a lot of bragging about Soreen consumption here. I'm not going to say I'm going to win, I'll just mention that I once ate half a block of lard once because someone said I couldn't, and (as PP will testify) I used to eat whole raw onions and potatoes for bedtime snacks. It's disgusting, I know, but it's just to let you know I'm serious. 😀

Please. Let. That. Be. A. Lie.....?

and (as PP will testify) I used to eat whole raw onions and potatoes for bedtime snacks.

Hi Juan,

We could do with the ticket money now. We have to pay for the Marquees, lights, beer etc in advance.

Cheers

Same is true for anyone else there who hasn't bought their ticket yet.
