My Altura Hi-viz jacket has once again started to fail. It isn't very waterproof and reproofing it just results in a horrible smell (the Nikwax?) and lots of reflective dandruff where the reflective stuff is falling apart.
I need a new waterproof jacket that is reflective and ideally brightly colour. Breathable. And (this is where I get stuck) has either a hood or an optional extra hood. I cannot find anything like this apart from Altura stuff.
Any suggestions?
No one? The only thing I've found so far is a Gore jacket. It has an optional hood but next to no reflective stuff.
IMO reflective bits are far more effective than bike lights for helping cars spot you.
Ive seen recommendations for an Endura, think its a Lummix, edit - its a lumminite. not got one, but plenty of recommendations
