Likely going out to Church Stretton tomorrow. The plan is up the mynd from somewhere near carding mill Valley, down minton batch, back up through the forest and then right and down via the big grassey bank at the other end or maybe just down minton batch again. In the past I've just gone up carding mill Valley but on a previous thread I saw someone suggested a possibly cheeky alternative, left at a white pub or something, not quite sure, that comes out where the path from carding mill Valley goes up. By best I mean quickest. Which is the quickest way up the mynd? Ta

If you're in Church Stretton and looking for the quickest way up. You'd need The Burway...

Is that the road stu? If so then not that one, I did that a previous time and thought that carding mill Valley was quicker. Does my note about a white pub or building mean anything to you?

The quickest way up is from the bottom of Minton Batch. But it's a push straight up a field and nowhere near Church Stretton.
The only white pub near that I can think of is in Little Stretton but you'd not want to ride up from that which ever way you go.

It might be the road from All Stretton with the white pub being The Yewtree, but that would take longer than The Burway. As Stu said, The Burway is the quickest way up as it's tarmac and pretty direct.
