As there arent many mayhem threads today...
What's the best way?
- M1/M6
- M4
- M40/A40
Leaving this evening about 6.
M40/A40 would be my choice but have no idea what the traffic would be like on a Friday evening
Up
I'm going from NW London, to Paddington, to Weston-super-Mare (on a train), to bed, then to Mountain Mayhem on the M5 (in a car). I suspect that I may not have picked the best route...
You don't actually know where the Malverns are do you? M1? M6?
M40 and cut across near Oxford shouldn't be too painful - however it is Friday, and it is raining sobtake a flask of coffee for the inevitable tailbacks.
Google maps first choice is M1/M6 :p
Don't forget the Three Counties Show is also taking place in Malvern and they are expecting 100,000 visitors to arrive at the show. From Junction 7 on the M5 to Malvern will be very slow tomorrow and probably on Sunday. Both in the mornings and in the evenings. Maybe if you are coming up the M5 from the South get off at Tewksbury and come up to Eastnor from there
The 18:22 from paddington to Ledbury. £30 return thanks. 😉
i would go via the river thames every chance you will not get as wet as it is going to be at eastnor this weekend, everyone enjoy getting wet and muddy this weekend 8)
