Paul's cycles have some rocket mountains at half price.

http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/bikes/mountain-bikes/hardtail-mtb

https://www.paulscycles.co.uk/bikes/mountain-bikes/rocky-mountain-growler-50-hardtail-mountain-bike-bourbonblack__1267460% off the new price. I've no idea if rocky sell at full price normally.

I love my on one Vandal. It was under £1000 second hand. Will it crack- possibly. Will the scandal which, if you are patient probably can be had for sub £1000 probably not

I rode a cove stiffee for 10 years. No one cared 😄

I mean you've got to buy that Growler, just for the lolz.

Looks really good apart from the fork. But you could get one of the Revelations off Alpkit's ebay and flog the 35.

The Calibres from Go Outdoors were favourably reviewed on here a few weeks ago

If you’re buying new then the Calibre hardtail that they reviewed on the main page is a nice ride.

It doesn't beat that rm on any level though and it's more expensive
