As above for my race bike. I already have some xtr shifters from a 3x9 - was wondering if there were better options for 2x9.

I use XT, they work fine. XTR will work fine better.

txr will do the job just fine - set the inner stop to the inside ring as usual and then wind down the outer stop so you don't accidentally shift onto the 3rd ring that isn't there
