After a rather muddy ride yesterday, by tires had some issues clearing, not bad, but they do clag up for periods.
I've spent some time googling away and can't seem to find the elusive Bontranger Mud X on offer anywhere - any links to a pair at sensible money?
I've found Swamp Things for 30 quid a pair delivered, which is what I am now leaning towards unless I can find some Bontrangers for similar or a little more.
Bontrager's Mud-X don't have to be reduced in price to sell, as there one of, if not the best, "all-round" winter/mud XC tyres.
I've not tried them but Specialized's Storm tyres seem nearly an exact copy of them, get decent reviews and are available cheaper, give them a try maybe?
I use Specialized Storms last winter and thought they were excellent.
