Just wondered as I can get a tatty old Brooks B17. How hard is it to actually trim the leather, and does the blocking with wet news paper work?

do a youtube search, I've seen a number of vids showing you how to do it 🙂

I've done it, it's actually not that difficult to cut if you use a brand new scalpel. I think you'd struggle with anything less though.
