Where is the best place to but stans flow ex rims (26")? I seem to only be able to get these from uk bike store, which I have used and is ok.
Where is the best place to buy sapim spokes? only place I can find is sdeals or action sports (in Germany) but never used either, are they ok?
sdeals are good (but expensive on postage these days). I'd suggest using the ACI spokes at Sdeals though - just as good as DT/Sapim/etc but cheaper.
You can also get ACIs cheap on ebay.
Why Sapims?
DT are arguably* better and much cheapness at Rose Bikes.
*Not by me, I use any decent DB spokes. 🙂
I was recommended to use sapim (over DT) although both my other wheels are DT. The marketing guff does seem to point to nice nipple with the sapim (accepts a slight angle on the spoke due to the head shape).
This will be my first build hence the where to get spokes questions. I will look at the ACI spokes. Any one in particular?
