As above , right hand 105 shifter seems a bit reluctant to drop down the gears sometimes, took cable out etc. does drop eventually just seems sticky, its over 4 years old so maybe a bit of lube will help ... so use gt85 or other lubes , whats best for it
Ime silicone spray. Anything else attracts too much road grime and makes things much worse over time.
Are you sure you haven't got a partially seized rear mech? (I presume that you've already changed the inner & outer cable)

yeah all new cables, inners and outers, mech free moving clean and lubed, clean cassette, new chain ... just not crisp dropping down , even with no cable attached
