I've got two 29ers, one's a month old Niner Air 9 with new Hope X2's on them and I use it for not to techy hacks.

I've just bought a Gary Fisher Rumblefish 2 with Elixir R's on them and they were near identical to the Elixir 5's I took off the Niner and replaced with the Hopes.

I dread to think how crap the Elixir's will be once those big wheels are going flat out downhill with 17.5st pillock at the helm, SO what do I do??

Do I swap them, if so would the Hope's be better stopper?? I've not had a chance to bed them in properly (seems to be taking a while) or do I leave them and buy some new ones for the Rumblefish?

I've got Formula The One's on my Cube Stereo and they are stunning, but it's up for sale.....

Keep the Formulas off the Cube and put the Elixir on it for sale.

Put the elixirs on the stereo and the ones on the rumblefish.
No moneys spent!

I've thought that myself chaps, just wondered if it devalued the bike!

Only slightly, particularly as the elixirs are brand new.

Nah - the value in what you get back in terms of utility will be worth the tiny difference in value of the bike 2nd hand.
