I've been looking around for a roadbike at the £400 level and found a Scott Sportster S50 for £449 and a Cannondale Caad * Sora at £499 at Pauls Cycles.....
....anyone know of any even better deals around???
It's for mate's rides on a Sat morning, need a Compact (or triple if a good deal) and reasonable weight....have looked at s/h but the above deals seem so good that s/h possibly not really worth looking at methinks....

Got a decent local road shop? Would this be a bike you'd use all year?
usually a good few bikes around that price on the classifieds as well.
