im on mull at the moment and want to bag Ben More in the morning. ive got my hiking gear with me but id rather ride it for speed (dont want to keep the other half waiting too long)
first of all is it allowed and secondly is it a good ride? dont want to be carrying my bike too much if possible unless the down is super good 😉

Is it allowed? - yes.
Is it worthwhile? - there's nothing special. One small rocky/steep section near the top you might want to take care on.
it's not really very ridable. I walked up last year, and you would be hiking maybe 60% of the way up. Would be mostly rideable down tho' with the exception of a couple of steep/drops. Not the best downhill, as it's mostly rough and rocky with little flowing trail.
Walk it, and make sure to jump in the streams many plunge pools near the bottom on the way out. Lovely, and bracing.
ah cool. It's more about speed than wether its an epic ride. Whilst i'm on Mull it seems only right I grab the high point 🙂
