With the hundreds of different 'standards' I was wondering if something like this might assist in getting a variety of different bearings out of a bicycle http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PROFESSIONAL-5PC-INNER-BEARING-PULLER-REMOVER-SET-BLIND-INTERNAL-SLIDE-HAMMER-/371366678619?hash=item56772dd05b:g:npMAAOSwMmBVkTZj
Any recommendations?
Thanks.
Looks like they will all be too big for most bearings

Recently bought the above puller and necessary adapters, makes changing bearings a doddle, without the need for any hammering. I also have a specific bearing puller kit for Giant Maestro bikes, but only fits giant bikes.
Nice. Bookmarks for when needs...
Thanks. Thought they might be too big. Just need to work out which of the many kits on offer I need now...
We have one the same as trail rat works well for us. Also got an installation tool from ebay thats good
Brilliant, thanks Trail Rat.
I've got the one trail rat posted. Absolutely brilliant kit.
Thanks, I'll get one of those then - which jobs/parts have you used it for?
Tracey, which installation tool did you get, one of the <£10 ones?
Bought this one, its first class
Brilliant that looks great. Cheers.
I have that too and combined with a vice a very handy bit of kit.
