Don't ever remember them doing free membership...even racing as a junior I had to pay.

Sky sponsorship ends this year. Probably going to be other funding reductions.

If you're a member of an affiliated club, you can get free membership for the first year. But it costs the usual fees after that. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/clubs/membership

Yeah they've not done free membership for a while - I got reduced membership through my club for the first year - now paying a small fortune to try and hold some form of credibility together on summer Sundays - I spend a shed load of money looking daft.

Thanks for making me question that as the season end nears with two important races for slow dads coming up 🙂
