Thinking about ditching my Roadrat for something a bit quicker and with drops - and as I'd also like a CX bike for winter singletrack hacking - I;m thinking about the Boardman CX team for £900. I can put some road wheels on for the commute.
Only thing that might be a downside is the BB30 BB. I have one on my carbon summer roadbike and it's super stiff, I love it.
But are they any good at making it through the grit and wet of winter CX and regular commuting?
Thoughts?
