Just bought one of those £50 DX bike lights.

Where and how would you guys go about attaching the battery pack to the bike?

Asda were selling some small Hama camera bags for a £3 or so a while back. I use one of them and some Velcro straps eg:

to mount my battery pack (though not a DX light) under my stem.

I made battery packs up from 18650 cells (in pairs), then made a folded, innertube cover, with velcro straps or toe straps it can be strapped to seat or stem.

If you want ill get you some pics in a couple of days.

The flaps on the nylon pouch wrap around your top tube and then one of the plastic buckles passes through the other to 'secure' it. Probably not secure enough for off-road riding so get a piece of velcro to wrap around it too, I've got one from an old Cateye light.

Works for me.

I ust tyraps nice and tight.
