My 5tens freeriders are wearing out now.

I see I can get them for £60 on Adidas website.

Any thoughts on alternatives? Don't want to go silly money, as going to hint to Mrs AJT that this would be a good Xmas present.

Shimano GR5s?

Have a look a Ride Concepts and Leatt, they do some more basic ones that are worth a look.

When I was looking last time round Oneal Pinned Pro were available for under £50 (still are from Alpinetrek/Bikester etc). I ended up with Spesh 2FO however as they fitted better on my wide feet

Freeriders for £60 are about the best deal you'll get for flat shoes in terms of quality vs price, I expect.

The Freerider Pros are well worth an extra £30 though IMO, you have to use a discount code on the Adidas site.
