Going to soon be building a new bike with XO 2x10 drivetrain, and had hoped to fit an e.Thirteen Turbo Charger bash.
However, I just read [url= http://www.pinkbike.com/news/SRAM-XO-drive-train-tested-2011.html ]here[/url] that "the profiling on the outside of the 2x10 spider prevents it from being an option". Can anyone confirm whether this is also the case with the 2012 X0? Any way to bodge it to make it fit?
Not sure but I was told by a bike-shop owner pal that no-ones yet produced a guard compatible with new XX chainset for the reason you mentioned...

why splash out on something so expensive if you expect it to get bashed?
I'm guessing you're talking to MussEd, but mine is X0. Hardly cheap either, but that's a reason in itself to get a bash - I don't want it getting trashed by some unexpected rock strikes.
Still, it won't fit so I'm now looking to sell it. £35 inc postage.
