Can you fit a bashguard to an XT M785 (38t outer) 2x10? Did some rocky stuff last week, and am fearing chipped teeth......

Thanks to all those who are about to tell me to go 1x10, but I'm 48 and fat, so i's staying as 2x10!

not that I have seen but if you have ISCG mounts or use a spacer on the BB cup you can get static bash guards that stick down below the chain rings. Not ideal as more likely to bend but would look neater too.

like this: http://www.probikeoutlet.com/chainring-guards/7631-mrp-xcg-44t-2x-3x-bb-mount-bashguard-black-clear.html

also in 40T: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MRP-XCG-40T-2X-3X-SRAM-BB-Mount-w-ISCG-Bashguard-SRAM-X9-X0-XX-2X-/200777883229

I've got an XCG triple on my Zesty mounted on ISCG 05 tabs, very tidy and works well.

Nice one.

They do the 36T single one here: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31952

Things like this are another reason I don't want a frame with a push fit BB. Unless it has ISCG mounts I guess.

Mine has ISCG tabs, but they aren't the same measurement as the old type or the 05 standard.... so I've opted for BB fit.... currently running a single spacer.
