The ep8 motor appears to have ISCG mounts. On the Rise the top 2 are used for a chain guide from the factory.
The chainring dips slightly lower than the motor and I’ve put a few good gouges in the motor cover and given the chain and ring some scrapes. Has anyone fitted a chainguard/bash successfully? Was thinking something like the OneUp

Double-check those measurements as I thought the bolt mountings on the EP8 was proprietary (to Shimano Steps motors) rather than ISCG - I may be wrong.

That would make sense - oneup sell a specific ep8 chainguide. I wonder what the 3rd bolt was designed for
