im thinking about removing my top chain ring as i never really use it and fitting a bash guard or something simular.also tring to limit the chances of putting a chain ring through my leg 🙂

Did the same recently and got one of these: On-One 32T bashguard (it was £20 at the time). I don't think it'll take massive whacks, but it's not my intention for it to! If you're just after a lightweight one, RaceFace do some nice looking ones that cover up to 36T, but if you plan to grind it across stuff, there's plenty on CRC, etc...

I have one that looks very similar to that On One, works great 🙂

I got an e13 Supercharger because people on here insisted that it would make me ultra-gnarly.

A year on and I'm still a mincer....it does look ever so pretty though.

I have a brand new, unopened e.Thirteen Turbo Charger (40T, black) if you're interested. RRP £46.95, will do it for £35 posted. Email in profile.

EDIT: just listed it in the classifieds.

Anyone happen to know the weight of an m770 outer ring? Looking at the on one bashguard at 54g.. Just wondering if there would be any weight saving.. Genuinely do not have a clue!

I've got an e13 Turbo charger and Heim 2 chain guide:

Works a treat but I found I was running out of gears on the old 32t middle so upped it to 36t. Be warned, you may/will need longer bolts as the standard Shimano ones on my XT cranks were too short. RaceFace have some for a few quid 🙂

E13 for me on my Heckler.

As explained it won't give you the riding skills of Jedi, but you'll certainly look cool in the Car Park.

Which is the most important thing, right... 🙂
