I’ve been using this on my last three drop bar bikes and it’s going on my Cowchippers for my Vaya

I’ve just got the lizard skin stuff it’s very grippy and soft not ridden it much yet but initially feels good.

Fairly cheap Easton tape but I put extra strips under the main contact points and wrap over that. Gives you some more padding without loads of bulk.

I've put gel things under with thick lizard skin tape on top.

Specialised Roubaix, soft and grippy, hard wearing too. They do an extra wide version that mimics double wrapping.

Silicone stuff. Washes and you can remove it if needed.

Thanks everyone, I have just seen the specialised phat bar tape, which they say has very good damping, but they do 2.5mm thick and 4.5mm thick, obviously the 4.5mm will be better damping but concerned too thick as I don’t have big hands, anyone using either thickness and thoughts? Cheers

This. X 2
For me double wrapping the bars works well. Guess you'll just have to experiment to find if it suits you.
