I have v-brake cartridges/pads in my tektro 720 cantis on my cx bike and am upgrading to carbon rims. What is the brake pad solution for this as I can't find any carbon pads that look like they'd fit the longer v-brake style cartridges? gah!

Yellow King version of the SwissStop, it's about the only brand I've found that offers a decent range of rim brake pads. I use the "Blue Sky" ceramic specific ones on my CX bike (got Avid Shorty cantis on there and the brake shoes are all the same across Avid, Tektro, Shimano).
Good pads without being stupidly expensive. Just be aware that CRC will probably send them in something the size of a shoebox though.
