Hi
A group of us (probably 6 of us) are looking to go away end of September.
It looks like season will have closed in the Alps so Spain is a likely venue.
Anybody got any recommendations for companies, location etc etc.
Guess well have to take our own bike but open to thoughts
Cheers
Steve

Based right on the beach with plenty of Autumn sun to enjoy.
Stunning singletrack rides with plenty of bus uplift during the day & fun après-bike on the coast at night.

heard good things about rivierabike and have buddies who've done repeat visits. Loads of threads on here with recommendations if you search title similar to yours, lots of company owners plugging their own outfit but lots of reviews from punters too.

Cheers LoCo. Well I´m a company owner and I´m about to plug my own place! There´s plenty of past guests on here too though if you search. So, fatgit, September is usually a lovely on the Basque coast and is a nice time for the Pyrenees as well. If you live up to your username then we are running plenty of uplift too 🙂

I've always heard Switchbacks and Riveria Bikes (although Italy) get good reviews, not been with either so can't comment.

how about MOrocco with http://www.cycleactive.co.uk/mountain/africa/morocco.html got a trip 5-12th October. phenomenal holiday can highly recommend it.

Been here twice, had fun twice http://www.ridesierranevada.com/ (last time was in September, was hot bordering on too hot but would go again at a similar time, think it hit 35c one day but mostly around 30c, main issue was the climbs always seemed to lack any shade). Although most of the rides start with a mini-bus ride to a high point you go up and down on the routes so you need some basic fitness.

Guess I'll join in and suggest Tenerife with LAVATRAX plenty of sunshine in September and much quieter once the school holidays are done with.

Me and a few mates went with Chris from All Mountain Venture last September and had an excellent trip. The biking was varied, challenging and great fun - I couldn't recommend it more highly. Just trying to work out when i can get back there.
