It seems I have a new one; Falling off the back of the bike
I was going down a gulley and up the other side. As the forks bottomed out and unloaded, the bike shot away from me (like I had been punted from behind), the saddle went through the back of my balls and I bruised my stomach landing on the saddle (still attatched to the bars )
"Better not do that again.." I did it yesterday landing a little jump ๐ณ
Seems I have developed a nasty habit of getting the weight back at inappropriate times so I need to teach myself not to do it.
Share your bad habits
Somehow, I seem to grab the front brake too hard when I get nervous on descents. Most of the time I am able to pull of a magical step-over dismount-type manoeuvre to save myself, but sometimes I send myself flying.
Seriously.
Dragging the back brake, only really noticed recently as I've been riding more and getting thru rear pads twice as fast as front ones.
Trying very hard to correct it and it's only on steep n' loose where I think I'm doing it still
sometimes agreeing with TJ,
not riding my bike (have been doing a lot of it for the past 6 or so months ๐
