On bumpy terrain when xc riding  i occasionally bump on the saddle quite hard and thus it moves off level! Very annoying as i then have to reset set it level again .

It usual tilts backwards.

Any advice or hacks?  It does not seem fit for purpose? I do not want to over torque it!

What am i doing wrong?

You sure you've tightened it up properly? Take the clamp apart and give it a good clean and reassemble?

The saddle you are using doesn't have silly things rails, does it?

Never had that and I think the AXS Reverb clamp is better than the others I have.

Agree with @DickBarton ‘s comments. I would only add, is the seat excessively (forwards or) backwards on the rails perhaps resulting in a bit much leverage?

I have had mine slip before but it was, as suggested above, dirt getting in the mix and F'ing things up. You could always try a little carbon paste on the rails if it is that slipping maybe?

Also had mine make an annoying squeak, took me weeks of chasing down on the bike to find it was, again, dirty saddle clampage :/

I’ve had similar with mine in the past. From memory

I cured it by setting the saddle in the correct position and torquing the clamp bolt then I tightened the angle adjuster torx screw slightly and that seemed to stop it slipping
