My new avid brakes are driving me somewhat mad. The lever reach on the rear brake seems to be difficult to adjust and the lever is coming back to the bar (they work fine - it just doesn't suit me).
The instructions say use an allen key on the dial at the front of the lever, but that doesn't seem to turn.
Anyone got any ideas or is it welding torch and hammer time.
Take a 2.5mm allen key (or the rebound adjuster off RS foks) and insert it into one of the holes in the wheel and rotate the wheel (not turning the allen key itself). Are you sure it's not already at the limit of it's travel if the levers are at the bars?
Hmmmm, I guess I just need to push harder with the allen key. I was reluctant to force it.
Thanks ๐
hmmm, mine just about turns by finger
They've started turning more easily now. I guess they were just a bit stiff.

Did you use the welding torch on your hopes ?
