[Closed] Austrian alps DIY MTB hol

Hi folks, I'm attending a conference in Vienna in September and it occurred to me that it's not a million miles away from the alps and perhaps I should bring the stumpie along for an outing and stay an extra week.
I cautiously broached the subject with the wife and she said "good idea"! Which I wasn't expecting so game on.
Anyone biked in Austria? Any recommendations?
I'd describe myself as a trail rider, happy with long days in the saddle and enjoy climbing too as well as the downs. I'm not averse to a bit of uplift but I'm not after a DH specific trip.
