Great. That's all 3 of you paid up and the family full for 2026.

Think from above family is full? But if anyone does have a space to adopt then I’d be interested?

@convert

Yes I’d like to renew the family subscription, please. Just replied to your DM, STW didn’t send a notification, I’ll ping you the money if you still have a place.

No worries and thanks for confirmed.  So sorry  Doomanic 😟. Hopefully you can get another family together.

The messaging is not that awesome and notifications are really unreliable.

Hard to keep track of who's in whcih group but - I'm also up for this, previous premium subscriber but can't quite stomach the full cost again.

I'm up for adoption!

@snotrag

I got dropped from my family like the ginger middle child.* 😉

I’ll gladly organise a surrogate family. The messaging on here isn’t great so if anyone wants in then email me “my username” @gmail.com. I think anyone can work it out.

* No offensive to ginger middle children.

So, @rockbus and @snotrag have both replied, looking for a fourth member.

@funkydunc is in and our family is complete. I’ll be in touch with payment and username details soon.

Over to someone else.

How does this work with old stats and after leaving the family?  I guess its the same as stopping and starting premium...all your data is still there it just turns on and off the features?

Ah, man - I feel guilty now.

Mind you, seeing your child striking out and setting up their own family - #proudmoment sniff 😊

Seriously - glad you are sorted after I dumped you!

Basically it's just like normal strava - your account is your account and not connected in any way to your 'family's'. If you already have premium it needs to have expired before you can join a family. If you leave a family (like the ginger middle child above 😉 ) your status just reverts to free member until you join a new one or pay up for individual. All the while your data (rides, routes etc etc) remain intact.

It seems this isn't in any way dodgy like sharing netflix across multiple households/addresses. Strava actively encourage club members and riding/running groups to do this so it's all good. Shame there isn't a bigger group option for 20 or 30 folk at an even bigger discount - join a bike club and part of your membership fee gets you membership to the bike club's strava 'family'.

In 2026 strava is going to be my only (sort of - my settings are mostly set to private anyway) social media save a bit of insta for work related reasons and facebook marketplace.

Anyone else noticing Strava via the App is, surprisingly frequently, difficult to connect to over the last couple of weeks?

Tried for 15-20 minutes this morning and no joy. Other Apps, websites are fine.

Doubt anything to do with a 'Strava Premium Family' subscription.

No problem connecting but has often been very slow to upload activities lately, appear OK on  Garmin Connect and Komoot
