My subscription just ran out. I 'think' it's worth it, but it's touch and go. Then I remembered the 'family' membership deal.

Premium is currently £54.99 as an individual, but a 'family of 4 is only £99. So less than half price each.
You don't have to be actual family, or even pretend to be, Netflix stylee. You don't need to share your innermost Strava secrets or share a toothbrush - Just trust one person in the 4 with your cash to sign up. You also can't have a premium membership running - you have to be a premium virgin, or it's expired. Otherwise you have to get a live subscription cancelled before you can play.

I’ve been looking for deals on a Strava premium membership for the last week, but nothing seems to be about this year.

MODS: Might be worth a sticky, pretty sure there will be people who could do with a half price subscription. Only takes 4 people to organise themselves. Or it could be like herding cats.

I’d love to get in on this is there’s a family 4? Only problem is I’m in Jersey and when I tried to set it up here Strava told me I couldn’t as I’m not in the UK..(!) - I wonder if I can join a family from here though.. ?

So if one is already a Premium subscriber is it possible to cancel it and then err.. put yourself up for adoption?

I'm still up to join a family, just not the fastest comms from me as away this week but happy to join and pay my share. It will just be towards the end of a day when I make contact.
Also the STW notifications thingy does not appear to be working.

Two of my 'family' have not responded so with time ticking (it renews on Sunday) I'm happy to take two new members.
No, accounts are not joined in anyway - you can elect to follow each other be request like normal but that's it. The 'leader' has to pay up front for all 4 and the other have to pay them.
If two more want to message me with their name and email address I'll email you my bank details and I'll happily add you to the family on recruit of your £25.
