I'm having a problem installing a Cane Creek XXc crown race - 1.5 - 1 1/8 reducer- on a Revelation fork. It seems ludicrously tight, is this normal, maybe due to the extra metal in the race? Do I just hit it harder (don't have the proper tool, never needed one before)?

I'm using a Gravity reducer on the bottom race and it went on like any other. I don't know whether Cane Creek are tight as a standard h/s, though.
