looking at getting the lupine compatible battery and just wondering if folk have used these batteries and how they fair against the ridiculously expensive proper versions
Only used the ones for four4th lights, but the Lupine compatibles are the same nicely designed durable all weather casings, tough connectors and options like quick release mounts makes them pretty good for the money compared to genuine Lupine stuff which look a bit basic for the price!
Should think the battery inside is much the same as the original four4ths, and they're pretty good. I get excellent run time out of mine. Lasts two or three rides (2hr-ish each), though I usually top up each ride. Better for the battery apparently when it comes to lithiums. Though as with all lithiums you have to condition and store them right over summer as can be knackered if not treated right when left unused for long periods.
