**EDIT - five minutes Googling and I'll avoid like the plague. As you were, nothing to see here....

I want some new brakes and they have a great deal on a pair of Deore single-pots. Euro spec, but that's fine as I'll need to disconnect the hoses anyway to thread them through so I'll just swap them when I'm reconnecting.

Good value, or suspiciously cheap?

I have used them a good few times. I always make sure it is in stock. No issues at all.

I go those brakes from Fawkes Cycles in Oldham for about the same price, maybe cheaper - though price now has gone up a bit.

if you just want cheap brakes then biketart has something

Get the credit card out so you have cover and get buying.

Yes, used them a few times for things like tyres or a cassette when they've been cheap. Never had any issues so not had to test out their CS.

A bit like Sport Pursuit, I'll buy from them when they're a great bargain, but I don't expect LBS quality of service.

been brilliant

people are more likely to moan on the internet rather than leave positive feedback

Yeah, I've used them for tyres and the like and not had any issues.

This thread has also revealed that Fawkes is in Oldham. As I now work near there, it could be useful

Fine for me, I think Ive left them decent reviews on Trustpilot. Last purchase was a tyre, very cheap cos "shop soiled" - was just a bit dusty. Bought a full set of Sram g2 Ultimates off em too for the hardtail.. about £150 the set iirc

I'll call out a shop that has bad service. Sport and leisure didn't when I used them. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I think there is another company with a simialr name that is bad. I've used that sport and leisure a few times for some cheap parts for a bike build they were fine. Good prices, quick postage. They sell loads through ebay but they're slightly cheaper direct.

Edit- this is the bad one https://www.sportandleisureuk.com/ the one the OP has linked to is based in the black country and gets good reviews.

I have used them a few times and also had to use CS for a wheel which had photos of both 6 bolt and CL mounts. Listing wasn't all that clear but I didn't check closely enough so had to pay return postage  they refunded me no bother, though

Used them several times but through their own website and their ebay shop when ebay discount codes and multibuy diso****s stack to make prices even cheaper.

Great service each time.  Returned some new SRAM codes once a week after I bought them as they dropped the price on more recent codes so I went with them.  Originals returned and refunded promptly with no issues.

OP - Is it not time to edit the title and the first post? (or ask the mods to do so?)

Was out on my bike Tuesday evening having spent another hour or so beforehand trying to get my SRAM GX mech shifting nicely (I've set B tension sagged and unsagged with the tool, changed hanger, tried another mech, replaced inner and outer cables and new shifter and still right) so I'm giving it one last try by switching to Shimano before the bike goes bin.

I went online and searched for shimano 12sp mech and Sport and Leisure had a deore M6100 12sp mech and SLX shifter for less than £50 delivered. I ordered at 8pm Tues and due for delivery today. I've used them a few times in the past and only positive experiences so not that surprised, this thread has motivated me to leave a review all being well.

Would seem so, especially since the revelation there's a company with a very similar sounding name. @IHN might get his attention.
