Going for a non-bike holiday nr Pyrenees in Sept and fancy sneaking off a day of guided riding. Altitude Adventure are pretty close by - anyone used them for a day trip/bike hire?
Whats the riding like in the area?
Thanks
Had a week with them a couple of years back and loved it. Really varied riding from properly steep rocky stuff to mega flowy singletrack. Ian and Angela are both very accomplished riders and very helpful. I'd send them an email about doing a days guided riding, I'm sure they be able to let you tag along with them. You need to provide them with proof of insurance on arrival.
Just to add that when I went they had some fairly old looking Scott genius bikes which I wouldn't have fancied out there tbh but think they may have got Genius LT hire bikes now (Ian worked for Scott and I think Angela was a sponsored rider at some point)
Thanks, sounds like just what we're looking for. The website lists Genius and Genius LTs available for hire so should be able to sort something out that works for a day.
