There are some cheap(ish) chain devices out there. It struck me that with the chain sitting underneath them it could prevent chain suck. I'm sure this must have been done before as an "anti-chainsuck" device. Anyone tried it?
Does a chain device fitted normally encourage chainsuck?

I have thought about fitting one, but so far been put off by the idea of drag, noise and a negative effect on shifting - I'm only running a double though, I imagine it would be even worse on a triple.
