Specifically a mark1...any comments is it better than the stock DHX air?
I'd guess there's a reason they didn't come with an rp23
we had a blur lt in today with an rp it looked sweet as a nut. the boost on them has really made a difference. dont see why you couldnt use one if the stroke is right.
Rp23 is a better shock than a DHX air if you are talking about the earlier versions.
The later DHX airs they have been changed slightly, but i still reckon they'll not be as good.
I've used both on various bikes and rebuilt and tuned both too.
it's a 215mm eye to eye with a 64mm stroke I think and are available after market.
Yea it's an old DHX Air and I reckon it will need a service soon, probably better for me just to buy a new shock -
RP23 is also 200g lighter...but can't say I've ridden one before.
It will be fine
coil shock will make it work better
I have ridden Nomad and Blur classic and new Blur LT with DHX and RP23 old, and new boost types. I reckon it rides better and is easier to set up with the RP23. Keep it simple keep it working! Andy, Biketreks
