As above, just curious. Hunting for a new frame and spotted these curious beasts.

Aluminium main triangle, including a scandium downtube, then a carbon backend. Then glue on every buzzword, tapered steered, 142 or 135 dropouts via a chip system.

All in, comes out heavier than your bog standard aluminium frame. Over manufactured or the way forward?
