Interested in if anyone runs the above (thinking Schwalbe marathon +) on my all year round commuter, and wondered if anyone runs 28mm tyres which is the max recommended width.

How robust are Open Pros?
Do 28mm tyres seem to roll a bit on the rims when cornering as they're pinched more than narrower ones?

Thanks

I run 32-54mm tyres on mine, no issues, the max width thing is a myth.

They are a very robust rim, especially at that weight.

Plenty run CX tyres @35mm so they'll be fine.

I normally run 28mm on mine (Marathons or GP 4Seasons) for touring but also run 35mm Raze for CX.

They're a bit flexy compared to rims with deeper sections, but I've had absolutely no problems running 35mm 'cross tyres on mine. Like most of these things, the flex isn't really noticeable unless you hold the wheel between your knees and twist the bars.

Marathon Pluses are awesomely puncture resistant and you'll certainly get fit if you do a few miles on them!

As above, I run 25-32mm on mine without a problem. Mine have needed nothing doing to them in 4 years of commuting on all surfaces ๐Ÿ™‚
