Still sifting through my options for a road/off road/adventure bike and wondered if anyone has one
And can give me there thoughts?
Is it right at the adventure end of the scale or Could it be ridden for 3-4 hours as a road bike?
I've got one. (So has my wife.)
Running Schwalbe G1 tyres, I have slightly flared drops, wife's compact std drops. I have SRAM with Acor cable/hydro brakes, she has Shimano with BB7.
Both circa 10-11kg with cages, pump, tool wrap, pedals.
Have used as winter road bikes with full mudguards, covering lots of miles on wet dirty potholes roads. Prob 1-2mph slower than my summer road bike but really comfy ride from the 40mm tyres and the brakes are great in the wet. Also done 40-50 mile road/off road mixed rides around the South Downs, and intend to tour Brittany on them using the white roads etc this summer. Really happy with them, I'm considering the Ti one.
I'm going to be trying 50mm tyres on 650b wheels soon to see if there is any benefit when fully loaded off road and any trade off on the road.

Great helpful reply Matt. Ti looks like great value !
It looks better too. Whilst very good quality paint work the actual colour schemes aren't the best...
