Was just flicking through Cadel Evans' biography at lunch and in is an an evocative description of his training on the above trail, back in the 90s. That fabled name was a real blast-from-the-past.

yes, awesome trail, really cool trail, I rode out from a campsite just north of durango, didnt use an uplift and the climb was better than expected. On the way down I met two horse riders and one was the owner of Mountain Bike Specialists. Very good trail.
Nope, but hoping to this year. Arrived in Durango too late last year and found snow everywhere. There's a lot of good riding in that area.
