Needing some more hire bikes and these are an OK price.
Just that their lower end bikes are tall and short which is OK for a novice MTB on the road mostly type ride, but these will be at Drumlanrig and will get ridden properly..

rik do you sell many dawes ?
my experiance was that year on year they got worse - specs were nice but build quality and finish from factory was terrible. Youd often spend twice as long getting it into a salable condition as you would a giant - or a merida.
they had a high return rate for things like snapped spokes after only a few week - had to do many wheel replacements on warrenty
of course your milage may vary - but if i was going for hire bikes it wouldnt be a dawes and its nothing to do with the name - i happily raced a banana yellow dawes oxide for many years
