The mrs has just been called into work at stockport station, so i'm thinking I'll jump on a train and go somewhere new. Thinking the Buxton line maybe? Anyone know any easy to follow routes that are near some stations around me?

macclesfield? and do the macc forest route/s. The 'forest' is perhaps 20 minutes cycling from the station. There was a similar thread not too long back.
