I'm out there Thursday for a long weekend. Looks like it may be a wet muddy one judging by the weather forecast.

Will swing by Pila for a few day this summer. Catching the ferry out tomorrow. We've no interest in riding in the pissing rain, and have a 7 series boxset of the West Wing in case of showers.
I'd love to read a report or see some pics of riding in Pila. Ive spent about two seasons skiing there, so i know it well!
Theres an awesome looking descent i can just about make out that goes directly under the Gondola in places.

The descent is terrifying. Your brakes will be so hot by the time you reach Aosta that if you're pads haven't glazed and died then you aren't trying hard enough.

Followed by a speck and brie panini in the cafe by the Gondola station! (Which is what i do after a days skiing). Just by the shop with "wee-man" working in it, as we call him 🙂 .
I'll have to take a bike there someday.
