used to live there, 1963- 1978, no help to you, but it was where i spent my childhood, scratchwood was the play area for me, lived in oakwood avenue-- schooled in the comprehensive on shenley road..got mates still there, but not in touch much anymore.

Hi Joe. I'm in St Albans. There are a couple of groups locally, one rides from the Jolly Sailor Saturday mornings and Thursday nights during the winter, the other from Harpenden Sunday mornings and Sandridge Tuesday nights year round.
