Just get the wheel pro book, a free evening, and a bottle of chilled booze.. Simples!

Yep, download the Wheelpro book for £7 or so and have a go. Until you do it will remain a black art.
I wouldn't dismiss a course totally I can't see the point with a well put together guide to follow.
