As per the title really.
I'm going to Keswick with the inlaws and the missus next week (from 3rd march). We'll be doing some walking but I'm taking the bike and will be able to get out for a ride on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
If no-one's around then I'll just do Whinlatter but if someone who knows the area is about then I'll happily do a more 'natural' ride. (I've got a Garmin and an unused, so far, Lakes route guide book so could even provide/suggest a route).
I did a Welsh MTB C2C a few months back so I think I'm reasonably fit but more than happy to enjoy the ride, the scenery and some cake, rater than treating it as an XC race.
Oh and I like going out or just staying in watching a DVD etc etc 😉
They will be along in a bit, plenty of locals in here. There is a Tuesday night ride (on Tuesdays) too
Try the Borrowdale Bash, it'll be in the Lakes Route book, starts and ends in Keswick and you can add some cheeky bits on to avoid the longer road sections.
