I'm going up to the 3 peaks CX and i'd really like to be able to get around quickly on the roads between good points so i can take photos etc. Massive thanks to anyone who can help out. Cake may well be on offer btw ๐
You can do it on a road bike, we rode several bridleways round there on road bikes last year, worked fine, though you need to be slightly careful... I'd loan you my RoadRat, but I'm selling it to a mate in flat-barred form, so won't have it by then. That wasn't really much help was it ๐
Size?
I've got a kona jake with cross tyres on
when do you need it???
oh.. its a 54cm i think.... should fit you
You realise he'll just just sell it to feed his cake habit? I loaned him him a Voodoo Wanga a while back when he span me some yarn about needing it for the Alaskan Singlespeed Freeride Champs - I found it six weeks later in Cash Converters, Whaley Bridge, which somewhat suspiciously located next door to Caroline's High Peak Cup Cake Emporium... Coincidence? I'll leave you to work that one out.
You're a very funny man BWD. Probably going to be too small Martyn, but could i try it anyway? And a road bike would work too, i can always walk the bumpy bits. Size 56 probably.
I've got a 56cm Crosscheck you could use
Sounds good jamesgarbett. Whereabouts are you?

Size 56 probably.
Sorry, can't help you there.
Just use your mountain bike with some Semi Slicks or thin tyres.
I don't have any Will, and as this is the only time i'll ever use them i'd rather not buy any unless i have to. Thanks anyway LS.
you can have a try if you need sam.. mail me (in profile)
Sorry martyn, can only receive email at the moment ๐ I think it'll probably be too small, thanks anyway.
