looking at a badboy 700 and the 09 model has avid juicy 3 but the 10 has the tektro's, doesn't sound like progress to me but anyone got them, what are they like?

I had Tekro Augira (?) Comp once. Bacically copies of old Deore's - use the same pads / bleeding etc. Work well but mine squealed like crazy at the first sign of damp. Maybe felt a bit wooden in comparison the Juicy's. Occasioanally got one sticky piston (they had a hard life) - eventually a seal went in the rear. Replaced it with a Juicy which was a bit better overall.
